Bugs
Question: Why can people shoot me from behind a wall some times?
Answer: This is known as the left-lean bug, where it is possible to shoot someone without exposing your gun while leaning to the left. This is due to the fact that weapons are held in the right hand, but shoot from the centre of the screen.
Status: The developers are currently aware of this, however it is not a trivial bug, so it may be some time until it is fixed.
Note that this is counted as an exploit on some servers, so refrain against using it.
Q: Why does the ghost sometimes fall through the level?
A: This problem occurs when the ghost is dropped (by the death of ghost carrier, or otherwise) onto a displacement floor, and collisions do not work successfully.
S: The developers are aware of this.
Q: Why do I go through enemy players? Can't you make me clip against them?
A: NeoTokyo is based on the Episode 1 engine, which allows clipping against either all players, or none. Playtesters and developers have agreed that clipping against friendlies is a bad thing, and could lead to griefing.
S: The developers are aware of this. No fix is forseen in the near future.
Q: Why did you make a massive inescapable pit (on VTOL)?
A: There are ladders inside on the sloped walls that enable you to climb out.
S: Not a bug.
Q: Where did the M41L go?
A: The M41L was removed in the 10.23.2009 patch, as the power of the SRS was decreased, and the power of the ZR68L was increased to accomodate.
S: No change in the near future.
Q: Why is blood still visible on cloaked players?
A: This is a design decision. Cloaking will hide the player model, but your blood is still visible. If this annoys you, perhaps you should be getting shot at less.
S: Not a bug.
New Features
Q: Why is there no damage direction indicator?
A: Damage direction indicators were specifically removed from the game to enhance realism and promote the idea that you should remain aware of your surroundings at all times.
S: No plans to fix in the near future.
Q: Can you add iron sights?
A: No. This has been suggested many, many times. The current aiming system works well, and unlike ironsights, does not obscure half your screen.
S: Not a bug.
Q: Can you add crosshairs?
A: Hiding of weapon crosshairs is a design decision. If you need to aim precisely with a crosshair, use MOUSE2 (right mouse button) to enter aiming mode.
S: Not a bug.

This is a work in progress, and I'll come back in the morning and add a bunch more, I'm sure. Comment if you can think of any more in the mean time.
