I think the point is that we should either make it explicit that you can get up there as a support/assault or make it so they can't get up there at all.
I wouldn't have known. I never knew as a recon either.

Since you can't shoot while on ladders, it's possible for that set-up to be friendlier for recons who are defending from inside.

And yes, I too have "non-professional" mapping/programming project outside of work. :P

not a bug really, and I don't know if it has been there since pre-patch, but I noticed this yesterday in the "construction room"

The ceiling vents accessible in the server and briefing room I sometimes get stuck on trying to drop out of. Adding a ladder would certainly fix that problem. The ladders in the recon only parts are also quite tedious to try and shoot at things without getting caught on them.

That's not map specific, it's in the game. What you can do though is switch between your primary and secondary one time to solve the FOV distortion showcased in the video.
