Nice work, though they could stand to be a bit more transparent. Never really found anything wrong with the original crosshairs, but I am fond of the t-bar reticule. Also it seems that, at least on 1280x1024, the overall circle seems to be a pretty good representation of the maximum dispersion for the automatic weapons-try to get that circle over their center mass and you're golden... assuming they don't have a m41.

I guess I'll use this post as a place to put my mods as well, unless the OP has any objection.

Modified T-bar with red dot. External arcs calibrated to SRM-7 maximum dispersion.

A tester made an animated crosshair one time. I'm not sure of the details, this was at least a year ago.

Made mine today. Got some of that nice blends-with-almost-nothing magenta, but still some of the original white for when using thermal vision, which does have that color range.

Also took out the additive blending and translucency, so the color of the crosshair is not dependent on what's behind it. The original effects are nicely thematic, in that minority-report-transparent-screen way, but not exactly consistent.

Maybe you could make a white dot one. No lines, just a bolded dot.

Is the Crosshair file simply a VTF file? Or are they in another file format? There's an Xhair I really liked from another game, and I'd like to take a shot at recreating it.
