Exact weapon statistics

These aren't "official" (I'm no dev) but they are from the game itself as it is currently installed on my hard drive.

I've tried to iron out irregularities (like the Ghost "weapon" ;)) and one-off test weapons, and the devs may, of course, change these statistics at any time without prior warning ;)

"Consolename" is what you see in the console when people are killed by the given weapon, RoF is shots/second. No data on positional damage (headshots), blast damage, or recoil, sorry.

Assuming that stuff is all accurate, it's interesting to see. AA13 is presumably 50 damage per pellet, and that 0 penetration I can confirm...the opened glass doors in Rise absorbed an entire drum of shells as I tried to drop someone standing behind one of them looking the other way, so I learned that one myself the hard way. Surpressed ZR68 only having lower penetration than the normal one is a bit of a surprise, as is the surpressed Jitte having more. Oh, and the Kyla unsurprisingly being a total beast, though it is surprising that it almost matches the SRS damage wise.

It seems that as a general rule scoped versions of weapons have higher penetration, and silenced versions have lower penetrative power. Base damage doesn't really change except for the MX.

I think it's safe to say that actual damage must take into account both base-damage and penetration, in addition to the usual issues of distance and hit location.

I tested the Milso versus the Kyla, and even with the same damage there seems to be a major difference in the number of headshots required to down a Recon bot, which supports the "penetration is a major stat even shooting through clear air" hypothesis.

If we assume actual damage is Damage*Penetration (and "penetration" isn't being decreased, you're not shooting through walls) then the SRS is way out beyond the pack in terms of effective damage. Also, it looks like the silenced (in console, "scoped") Jitte actually has more penetrative power than the base version. Might be a bug there.

Hmm, always felt like the suppressed weapons' rofs were slower, guess it's true. Certainly explains why I have a much easier time killing enemies with the unsuppressed srm compared to the suppressed version, its got a freaking 25% increase in the rof.

I was going to make some pretty and speculative graphs, but maybe some devs can enlighten us on how these factors interact. (After they tell me whether or not the two Jitte versions are supposed to be that way or if I'm misreading the data.)

And then I can make pretty and non-speculative graphs ;)

Base damage doesn't change for silenced? I don't believe it. It can't be just a rof issue, because emptying a whole clip into someone is the same no matter how fast you do it. Silenced they live, vanilla they die. That's my experience anyway..

If you would have payed attention you would have seen that these are the console shortnames for the weapons and yes the jittescoped exists.

start a local server, enable cheats and type in give weapon_jittescoped. You’ll be surprised ;)
