Any word on fixing the exploit where players spawn as a guy in a business suit? I've never seen exactly how it's done - maybe the server has to have cheats enabled? - but I've seen people spawn as guys in suits, which don't have animations for certain things (ie, knife wielding) and absolutely no hit-detection (so bullets literally pass through them). One or two griefers doing this can ruin a match.

The vip model spawning exploit was fixed last server patch, unless you are playing on an unpatched server.

I saw the VIP when I set bot_class a bit too high... Although he seemed to have some bogus collision hulls.

Ah yeah, forgot about that server patch. No, I haven't seen it since then. Thanks for taking care of that one - the griefing was unbearable.

I'm sad that supports aren't going to be able to bunny hop anymore. Doing it didn't make me super OP, it just let me reach areas slightly faster so I can get in position in a fraction of a second quicker, it's not like I'm hopping around at speeds faster than a recon, I'm STILL slow.

Fixed bullet damage/penetration bug.


Good to hear its sorted! My playtime in nt has dipped quite a lot recently due to how annoying this bug can really be.

if the knife exploit refers to one hit kills from behind then the fix is fail, its the only thing that makes having a knife worthwhile, if you manage to get behind someone with stealth to knife them, then you deserve to kill them

Even if the knife has to go through armor speeding bullets have trouble penetrating. Right shinobi :p
